The Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 was built for exactly this kind of riding. A 411cc single-cylinder engine, genuine off-road capability, and fuel economy of around 4.5L per 100km make it the ideal platform for East Africa’s mix of tarmac, dirt, and everything in between. It cruises happily at 80–100 km/h, handles corrugated gravel without drama, and is simple enough to maintain far from the nearest workshop. Experienced riders appreciate its honesty. New riders appreciate how quickly it builds their confidence. Either way, it tends to be the bike people remember the trip on.
The world’s most iconic adventure bike meets the world’s most spectacular riding. 145 horsepower, a 1,301cc boxer engine, and 6-speed precision engineering — all pointed at volcanic plains, Rift Valley descents, and Maasai backroads that most riders only dream about. With a 400km tank range and suspension built for exactly this kind of mixed terrain, the R 1300 GS handles everything Tanzania throws at it without breaking a sweat. This is the bike you own at home, in the place it was always meant to be ridden.
Arrangements for the accessories and gear will be made after the booking of the rental bike.
